Derek Szeto is Founder, and President of Clear Sky Media Inc., the parent company of RedFlagDeals.com, Canada’s largest bargain shopping community. RedFlagDeals.com was launched during Derek’s last year of high school in November 2000 to address the lack of online shopping information for Canadians. With the strength of the community, the site grew to over 2.5 million monthly unique visitors with no external funding.
In February of 2010, Clear Sky Media was acquired by Yellow Pages Group. Derek is currently the General Manager of Deals, Coupons, Shopping at Yellow Pages Group and has since launched their own play in the group buying space under Deal of the Day.
